Patterns & Vodka

Yay! Blogging hiatus over. Wait, before anything else. I’d want to thank y’all for still having the interest for what I post on here even if I haven’t been that active! I’ve been so occupied (insert long rant about my schedule)

Me and Arveen went out to go to Makati. So many reports about this super typhoon again but we still went out. Did some errands in Makati, went to Mckinley Hill then to The Fort for my good friend Beverly’s birthday dinner.. and a few beers & vodka.

Mumu face part 1, Arveen’s new flash made me look so pale! I tried my best to bronze my face haha.

Wore the cutest scarf from Accessorize. I’m pretty sure you’ve heard/seen/wanted eagerly to buy and event went a little nuts when you visit their store. I do, all the time! Especially with all their promos now! Imagine, 900 pesos for 3 items. ANY ITEMS! Bags worth 3k, beautiful bangles and accessories, almost went nuts! Don’t worry, they have more promos coming your way and you can hear about them first with me. I’ll be writing alot about them. :) Check their facebook page click here

Accessorize is currently having their sale, another one, yep! From October 2- October 16. It’s a nationwide sale, selected items at 30% off! :)

They’re becoming so affordable! & they’re from the UK. :) I love their aesthetics. Chic boho, i-just-happen-to-wear-this effortless dressing up. A bit of advice, focus on accessories. They’re gonna be you’re bestfriend. I have tons of clothes most of them are thrifted or I made them myself. I put a lot of my budget in accessories cause it really is—-may I quote Amina Aranaz— “The finishing point to your outfit.” :)

Bangle set from Accessorize, 2-finger Ring from Bring Rings, they have a new collection. They’re so fierce! Bet na bet ko talaga. Visit their site! Gow!

Studded two-toned leather boots, thrifted. Earrings, accessorize. <3

Thanks for taking photos, love!

Oh there na, your kunwari candid shot. Haha.

Happy Bday Bev, love you!

Styling at INCHES-Trinoma

Inches is a local brand located on the 2nd floor of Trinoma near La Senza and Debenhams. I went there to style some of their mannequins for the window display. I was so excited. When you’re with Ms. Marina Benipayo, it’s gonna be a good day!

Check out some of my styling team: Timmy, Mercille and Carlene(sorry babe, spelling fail! haha)

Timmy always looks so edgy & I love Carlene’s comfy outfit. I love Mercille’s outfit always!! She really BRINGS IT. I wish I could carry that whole inner wear for outer wear trend. Funny how she had breakfast with Mayor Lim in that outfit. Hopefully he wasn’t distracted. Haha! Damn, girly.

Hi Janna. Love EVERYTHING about your outfit. From that mustard notched blazer, aztec printed top, maxi skirt, miu miu platforms and leather hobo bag. Not to mention your beautiful hair. We must shoot!

Time to scope around the store and pull out some pieces.

Wanted that cuff! & loved the wooden bead detail on that halter strap. (Yep, it’s a maxi with such pretty patterns)

I loved the lapel on that vest & pulled out some knits. Would love to wear those!

Beautiful studded detail on the back of this razorback vest.

Accessories! Some went home with these! Haha. In love with their rings!

Time to pull apart the mannequins! I’m so glad I didn’t break anything. Haha. Say hi to Natasha.

I always misplace the clips for the clothes to fit better on the mannequins. So I found a really good place to keep them so I won’t forget. Haha.

We were tasked to style 2 windows. My team were assigned 3 mannequins in our window. We styled them according to occasion. So that when customers would look at the mannequins, they could picture themselves in those situations looking really chic and awesomee. I love my team! :)

Our clubbing/night out outfit. That military styled lapel paired with a basic top and ruched high waisted pleather skirt with some cute accessories!

GET IN MY SHOE CLOSET NOW!

Here’s her whole look on the window display.

This was our professional everyday look. The bow detail on those shorts gave it a youthful touch.

Didn’t get to take a photo of our 3rd look which was the casual one. I’ll look for a photo and post it asap. :)

Productive day. So happy with the result. You guys should visit Inches and see how we styled the window displays. Excited to style the windows of Folded & Hung next Saturday.

Till then,

xx

Saturday up North.

Hiiiiiiii! Yes, a very happy gif for y’all. Sorry for the lack of make up + not ironing my hair. (I don’t usually get dolled up for my boyfriend haha) I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend!

I went to Trinoma for Styling. We styled the mannequins of INCHES (2nd floor near La Senza & Debenhams) It was alot of fun! I’ll write a separate post about that but this post will just be the awesome time I had with my family and boyfriend this weekend. But here’s a sneak off the mannequin I styled with my team for the window display. It looked really great and I love those shoes + graded bronze-gold metal fringed necklace.

My boyfriend came to Trinoma after his class in La Salle. We’re both from the South so Trinoma is very new to us. We got so lost and there were so many people! We weren’t used to alot of people. I don’t think I dig Trinoma very much. Haha. Gave me a massive head ache!

What I did enjoy was the garden on top of it though. Had some soy double shot white chocolate mocha (favorite hot drink at SB) + waffles(Thanks love!)

I was showing Arveen where UP was. This was a really nice view. Sucks it wasn’t a smoking area. (We abide by the rules on where to smoke and not to smoke. :>)

We also went to SM North to visit Hapadogs up the Sky Garden. By far, that was the most fun I’ve had blogging a restaurant. The creators, Kat & Karen were so much fun! Always so happy and very entertaining. Also, thanks to Ray who was so funny!! We nearly choked on our Hapadogs.

They served us almost all the hotdogs in half (cause it’s just me & Arveen & we could not finish it. Everything was massive!)

We super loved this spinach appetizer!

These are sooo cool! They’re like champagne for kids. You pop em open and it really explodes everywhere. Haha. So fun! Karen said they like spilling things everywhere. (Y’all see what she means)

Hapadogs are dogs with a Japanese twist! From a california maki-inspired dog to a tempura dog (breaded katsu dog with MASHED POTATO INSIDE) Mmmm!!!

Popeye dog! Spinach on top. Really good and guilt-free.

SAKE BOMB! (What Karen meant with they like spilling stuff) So a shot of their secret flavoring, balancing on top of 2 chopsticks all over a glass full of Japanese sake. You literally bang on the table and the shot splashes in the sake. Here’s the thing, you have to drink it straight! It will give you a high. Haha. The sake was really good though. A bit citrusy and fruity cause of the shot. Yum yum yum!

They have cake pops. SOOOO GOOD!! (Not like the shit you get in Starbucks) I would highly recommend their Red velvet covered in white chocolate! (Didn’t get to take a photo of Arveen’s Green tea cake pop cause he finished it in one bite!)

Wait for my detailed post on When In Manila. Check out Hapadog’s website: http://www.hapa-dog.com/ They’re located in SM North Edsa’s Sky Garden.

Went to Greenhills after and met up with my family for dinner but then I can not consume anymore food for atleast 3 days! Haha.

Lazy outfit day today. Chiffon blouse & shorts from Bayo, Beaded flats from Parisian.

Im so proud of my cousin JP (John Paul)! He owns the call center John Earnest in Greenhills. Had to take a snapshot of it. So proud of you cousin! *clap clap*

This is so funny! Luigi took a photo of this cause I wanna show my boyfriend. (Engineer—Karpintero) Karpintero ka pala eh. Goodluck sa Eng!

Leaving you with a photo of the important boys of my life. Have a nice weekend!:)

The day I went to see David Archuleta perform. He was adorable! See my detailed post here.

“Like a satellite we’re flying, Overhead where we see it all. Nothing can touch us, we’re everything and more. There’s no turning back from this point. Reaching heights like never before. Nothing can touch us, we’re everything, we’re everything and more.

Trust me this is worth not falling back to Earth.Everything and more is up here.”
