Regine Kristine “Krissy” Villongco

I had so much fun that day. Tiring 15 hours of non stop shooting for their new music video “In Your Arms” but I know it’s gonna be awesome. Can’t wait for the release on September!

Just want to share these iPhone (yep) set Krissy did while we were shooting scenes. Gabbie Sarenas beaded bustier + high waisted shorts + flower headdress I made. Yay.

Krissy & Ericka on ASAP rocks (04.01.2012)

Before anything else, check out their album! This is my beloved copy (of which I carry everywhere nowadays)

Was inspiring to work with these people :) Grab a copy of their second album under MCA music.

Ito ang ganap yesterday (Sunday April 1,2012)
I have NEVER seen so many stars. Movie stars, rock stars, pop stars and all. It felt like pag binomba yung studio wala ng entertainment industry ang Pilipinas. Haha. I loitered a bit and went to the Showtime studio, just cause! :)

Had so many stalker photos but will post that later :)

(above) Krissy and Ericka in their casuals doing sound check and a quick run through. & when I say quick, it really was as quick as possible. I forgot ASAP was LIVE. I have never styled anything that was LIVE. Meaning no second takes or break time for me to pin or fix their outfits on stage. Nada. Kaloka pa yung big ass time board to show how many mins remaining before they go live.

(below) God knows how thankful I was of break time.

& back to the rush!

(below) Before they went on. They looked radiating! It was so cute how Ericka was so nervous though. She couldn’t even focus on taking a photo haha. Proving how important every performance is for them. I mean, they’ve been on South East Asian tour.

(above) Krissy looks so fit! and the slit on Ericka’s dress was just right :)

Everything was so dramatic and beautiful with the string quartet in the background.

(below) Kasi dyosa si Christine Reyes.

(below) Next up was the ASAP Chill out with Robbie of PBB and Jessie Mendiola hosting the show. It was the cutest set up with the diner theme.

(below) Ano sabi ng heels ni Jessie?

(below) We got to see these adorable kids from Going Bulilit.

(below) The birthday celebrants. Happy Bday Quen and Kathryn Bernardo! Kaloka ang daming cake sa labas more than 20! Haha.

Kept laughing over Robbie’s HUNGER GAMES hang over. He kept incorporating it sa spiel. “Welcome to Pinoy Big Brother Hunger games edition. Sino kaya ang unang mamamatay?” HAHA

Krissy & Ericka’s turn. They’re performing again. I liked it this raw. Without any accompaniment but the guitar and their harmony.

“Alice lost in Wonderland”

Many thanks to the 8 photographers we had from Imagine Nation photographyEspecially to Shayla Sanchez  and Nicolai Melicor who I used fairly alot of frames from! Also, Punky Porca of Box of Sweets, Fashion Designers Gabbie Sarenas and Kirby Cruz. Kaycee Lim for the Make up. Ateneo de Manila University-High School especially to Principal Fr. RB Hizon.

I am so happy. This is why I work. This is why I work. I keep telling myself that everytime I just want to sleep in or go out.

This is what I work for.

Alice lost in Wonderland (teaser)

I styled this incredible shoot this week. I tell you, it may look easy but was it work! From the preparations and scouting around to find creative people to join the team, I was flustered! Due to the time constrains of this shoot, I personally failed with the set. I was about to get Heima, this wonderful interiors brand but then the schedule was too tight! Well, I’d love to work with them soon!

Anyway, I can’t release the photos yet till Sept 3. But here’s a bit of a dose.

I really want to take this opportunity to thank everyone:

  1. All 8 amazing photographers we had from Imagine Nation photography especially to Shayla Sanchez who had been so hands on.
  2. Our gorgeous models Nicole Policarpio, Yeye Sta. Maria & Bryan Laurente.
  3. Ms. Christine Ledesma of La Creperie for some of our set.
  4. Punky Porca of Box of Sweets for the cupcakes, lovely fondant cake and props.
  5. Fashion Designers Gabbie Sarenas and Kirby Cruz.
  6. Kaycee Lim for the Make up that I love so much!
  7. Ateneo de Manila University-High School (especially to Ms. Let & Principal)

It was tiring, we got bit by so many ants & cockroaches, stepped on thorns, bugs, sank our feet in mud, SHOT IN THE RAIN but you guys, I wanna cry. Haha! I haven’t seen all the films yet but good good job! *hugs*

Can’t wait to release the rest!

Behind the Seams: SoFA graduation fashion show

This is the second graduation show of my school SoFA. I’ve watched the first one in Philippine Fashion Week this was not any less exciting since my friends are graduating! Also, some alumnis and outstanding students will also show their pieces for the contests that they’ve won over the past year. I just have to say I’m so proud of you all!! So many talented people in our school and you guys really are the future of our Fashion Industry!

I skipped going to the 30 seconds to Mars concert to see this. I know I would be so tired and I had to wake up early again the next day. So I gave my tickets away. Pinagpalit ko si Jared Leto sainyo kaya dapat maganda talaga show na to!

This post is the behind the scenes since I was juggling heads for this evening. Originally my task was just to be backstage to help style/dress models and lessen the chaos but then I was also photographing for Ms. Marina Benipayo’s column for Inquirer and was asked by Ms. Amina Aranaz-Alunan to voice over the event. So, here I was again multi tasking.

Early day hitting up Rockwell to get caffeine and off the the Loft of Manansala. I was asked so many times what my lipstick was. People guess Jungle Red by Mac or even YSL’s expensive line of red rouged lipsticks but hey mine was Ever Bilena :) Less than a hundred pesos, if I remembered correctly. Filipino products ftw!

I was checking if Happy Lemon was open in the Archaeology section of Powerplant but nada. Sucks how Starbucks banned people from smoking but hey, rules are rules. So as I was gonna walk in my 5 inch heels to the smoking area I remembered how Sango has milk tea. (It’s located in the row of Starbucks)

& yay! Sango did have milk tea (Php 60.00 large) + smoking area and wifi! Found a chill spot. That has always been the problem for me and my boyfriend when he visits me in Rockwell if I have work. Starbucks you have met your match. :D

The loft was at the 38th floor and the view was spectacular. I’m in love with cities. If I had to choose between a house on the beach or a penthouse, I’d choose the later. I like hustle and bustles and energy. I grew up in Makati. Around this area actually. Made me miss it (but Im in Makati 80% of my time in a week haha) South is still home though. I guess my heart can belong in two places at the same time.

View of the bridge of Edsa, Pasig river & Mandaluyong. You can see the Mellow 94.7 station from here.

I saw this Jennifer Aniston movie. It was about this guy who speaks in a camp for people who had someone they love die. He’s also an author of this book about moving on. I really forgot the title, I tried googling it but let me know if you know:)

He took the group in the middle of the street in the city and asked them what they hear or see. They said noise, car horns, angry people, etc. Then he made them walk all the way up to the top of a building and saw a scenery like this. He asked them again and they said: Peace. He then told them “We will all have bad times in our life but with a few effort of climbing, you’ll find peace.”

I live through that quote. It’s why I like rooftops.

Smoking buddies. Fashion designer Gabbie Sarenas and The Little Big Spender, Inna Santiago.

Fashion designer Noelle Llave’s shoes, I loveee. She refused to take a photo! But hey, she’s featured on Designer Spotlight in Stylebible.ph so check her out and click here

SoFA teacher and all around multimedia master, Fold Canela. (I know you’re gonna hate this photo! Haha pero keri lang candid)

Models whom I hate to stand right next to! Haha.

Our Fashion Illustration professor and well known designer, Danilo Franco. Sketching everywhere!! I wish I had his talent!

Had so much fun! Tiring but worth it! Thank you so much to everyone who helped out. Congrats to all the graduates.
