Tugtug Pinoy Series: Manila Beer 2011

I know this is such a late post. I swear I have tons of photos I’d love to dump on here!

So I hosted the Manila Beer tour Tugtug Pinoy series in Bangkal, Makati. I was super stoked to host this since duh, Random Minds Prod really gives it all out with the line up: Grace Note, Jejaview, Rico Blanco, Tricia Garcia, Kenyo, Imago, Razorback, Tanya Markova, Top Junk.

The crowd was amazing! I met this young lady who actually joined the beer drinking contest and finished the whole bottle. Hirit pa nya sakin when I was saying the mechanics regarding finishing 1 bottle of Manila Beer: “Ah, isa lang?” Haha!! Oh my goodness, I love her so much. Tho she didn’t win, we still gave her a Manila Beer shirt. Oh and she’s *cough* 68 *cough* years young. ;)

The last time I saw Mcoy of Orange & Lemons. I was 12. One of the first gigs I’ve seen. They were so awesome I swear. Now they’re band: Kenyo has its new twist from old songs.They performed “Pinoy ako, pinoy tayo” from Pinoy big brother & Mcoy, you are sooo fineeeeee. With/without a microphone. ;) Im 18 now, yknow? Jus sayin… hahahahhahaha omg.

Razorback really brought it, I swear. My dad was banging his head when they played. 

One of my favorite local bands: Imago. Aia was super charming I swear. & the cute guitar shreds were so nice! I haven’t heard their new songs yet so this was a first. On that night also, their music video aired on Myx. Click here to check out their video of Effect Desired None.
