Style Origin: Men’s week feat. Armani, Faconnable, Penguin etc.

I’ve always been curious of Men’s style. I’ve never had the privilege of styling men independently. I’ve never had the guts to. I’ve only been exposed to it when I helped out Carlos Concepcion in some of his projects. Though I don’t think I’ll ever include styling men or designing menswear into my portfolio as my forte, this show has been so inspiring! From the styling to the trends and the taste, I love it.

& I love how wearable the pieces are. That’s the issue I have with Manila street style. People aren’t as “experimental” and that’s ok. Judging from the heat and the poor commuting privileges. I don’t really wanna dress up as how I normally want to dress up, too.

Anyhow I got the privilege of an invite from Ayala Malls to sit front row at Style Origin. Style Origin is an annual event at the Ayala Malls. Last year I just heard about it and really wanted to attend Style Souk at Greenbelt (I was there the whole time but I was doing “homework” for my styling class!!)

Here are my top favorite picks from the Mens casual fashion.

This model is so quirky I LOVE IT!

This reminds me of Desperate Housewives. Y’know. Those “suburban” neighbors minus the tattoos. Had to post 2 photos of him. HIS TATTOOS! <3

I would love to see my boyfriend in this! Polkadot button down.

This one is for me. Love the pastel trend!

TIE LINE

Tailored suits screams Im fucking rich you gonna be my bitch!
He kinda looks like Gerard Anderson after minutes too long in the tanning bed?

Your hair, that swag.

Fave. I hate glossy fabrics but this is semi-glossy semi matte? Reminds me of leather. Dunno. I just dig.
